Mr Gilot became Director for Creative Design and
Interactive Media in 2002 overseeing the company's creative design
and interactive media projects for the European market, mainly
targeting small to medium businesses.
Prior to joining the company, Mr Gilot served as the Chief Executive
Officer of Exposure Space, a Belgium technology firm serving a number
of popular Belgium portals.
Research in proteins
In addition to design and creative projects, Mr Gilot also has a strong
research background in nuclear sciences and bioinformatics with special emphasis
on nuclear and protein research. He has over 10 years of practical research
experience in the field at the Institute of Nuclear Science and the Institute
of Plantgenetics, both at University of Ghent, Belgium. He worked on databases
of biological data including nucleic acid, protein sequences and macromolecular
structures, aggressively pursuing advances in the field of nuclear chemistry.
Mr Gilot has a Licentiate degree in Chemistry from the University of Ghent
in Belgium and has also further studied in the field of Industrial Engineering
Chemistry with an emphasis on Biochemistry and Nuclear Physics. He speaks Dutch,
English, French, German and Spanish.
